Phase

In ‘Phase’ the image is performed as an open body. Entirely integrated in the spatial environment, different substances and their moving – shifting relationship reveal the core of the work. The Verlorenkost Bridge forms the outline of the solid structure of the installation and is the skeleton of a light surface that occurs on a fluid structure, the water. In this substance, screen and image come together, background and foreground become one. The course of natural light is applied as a main component of the imaging. The physical construction of the work forms a parallel with the mental construction of the image. The work acts as a generator of an ever-shifting content, a catalyst of directions.
